General information
Ian completed his BSc (Hons) Podiatry degree in 2003, his PGCert (Sports Podiatry) in 2006 and his MSc (Sports Injury) degree in 2010.
He has worked within private multidisciplinary teams in London for over a decade and consults for the PGA European Tour, England RFU and West Ham United FC academy. In 2012 he was part of the medical team based inside the athletes village at the Olympic Games held in London. In 2016 he was became a Fellow of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow.
Ian is passionate about education and research, and has published in the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association, The Journal of Foot & Ankle Research and the British Journal of Sports Medicine. He is a reviewer for the International Journal of Sport & Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy in Sport journals.
He has lectured on the topic of foot and ankle biomechanics in 3 different continents and teaches a two day course on Podiatric Biomechanics for Physiotherapists and other allied health professionals.
