DGWGO has been created for the benefit of the local community and visitors to Dumfries and Galloway so that everyone can make the most of our beautiful corner of Scotland by knowing exactly “ WHAT’S GOING ON ? in D&G!”

We “The team at DGWGO” have a huge amount of love and affection for Dumfries and Galloway, and want to help promote it, in a very honest yet positive way, so the whole world can see just what an amazing gem in Scotland’s crown D&G is!

The page originally started just on Facebook but has now grown to a position that it can be used to help promote local events and is currently involved with a few of the larger ones, including the Wickerman Festival, The Big Burns Supper, Stranraer RNLI Park fest, Thornhill Music Festival, Eden Festival, Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival, Kirkcudbright Summer Festivities,Dumfries & Galloway Wild Spring Festival and many more.
