Upstairs our museum tells the story of 2000 years of Lichfield’s history and features a varied mix of displays, exhibitions, and video presentations to take visitors on a journey through time. See the beautiful displays of silver from the city, diocese and Staffordshire Regiment and view The Staffordshire Millennium Embroideries, a unique representation of a thousand years of Staffordshire’s history.

To take a more personal look at life in Lichfield, spend some time browsing our collection of over 6000 photographs and negatives of Lichfield’s social history, or for those with a head for heights come and see the beautiful views of the city from the spire viewing platform*.
