Abbot's Lea School is an outstanding special school offering education and therapy to over 200 students age 2-19, who, due to their complex needs require highly specialist provision.
The aim of our work is to help our students grow into confident and independent members of our society.
As all of our students embark on their life's journey with a diagnosis of Autism and associated communication and interaction difficulties, we see an integral our work on the development of their self-regulation, social interactions and awareness of others' perspectives.
We are at an exciting junction in our school's history marked with recognition by Ofsted as an outstandind school and the arrival of our new Headteacher, Mrs Ania Hildrey.
