General information

The company in its current form has been operating since march 2006. A management buyout took place when the Moody group was sold to Premier Marinas. We expanded steadily over three years culminating in a move to larger new premises in June 2008 to fulfill our ever growing order book.

Prior to the 90's we had been making teak decks in the traditional hand laid method until we had enquirys for an off boat manufactured product. We then developed a system enabling teak decks to be built in our factory that was both equal to a hand laid deck in terms of looks and quality.

The system was engineered to enable full depth caulk seams which give a far longer life expectancy than a deck with rebated seams as offered by most other deck manufacturers.

Because of the production methods used we guarantee an exact fit for production builders, who may build in excess of 50 of one model and know that the last deck will fit exactly as the first one did.

The system allows the builder to order his deck in advance knowing a delivery date, cutting down on wasteful time laying individual pieces of teak on the boat.

Since 2011 we have invested in 2 new CNC router machines which work alongside our original machine. This investment means we can produce smaller decks quicker and more prescised.

We believe our service and product are second to none and at a competitive price with the following leading Boat builders forming part of our customer base – Princess, Sunseeker, Oyster, Fairline, Aqua Star, Discovery, Northshore, Hunton.

We currently employ 35 staff in our facility and are constantly looking to invest in ways of providing the best possible products at competitive prices.
