We are based in Guildford and have 40 staff working exclusively on the motorcycle team to ensure your dealership experience is unique. Our sole purpose is to help you to find and enjoy the New or Approved Used BMW motorcycle and accessories of your choice.

Our business also extends to offering tailored BMW finance packages to suit our customers individual requirements.

Vines History:

1885 - John Coombs SNR started a blacksmith and carriage company in Guildford

1900's - Expanded into motor vehicles

1920's - Coombs and Sons were dealing cars, coaches and had a reputation as body builders/painters of the early motor coaches

1930's - 1950's - Represented Buick, Wolseley, Rover and expanded into Jaguar and Jaguar Racing

1975 - The company established its service and parts operation in Slyfield Green and were distributors for Jaguar-Rover, Triumph and Unipart. These were sold in 1979 to Wadham Stringer

1980 - Coombs awarded BMW franchise in Guildford

1989 - John Tenner led a management buy in. He led the business into one of the country's foremost BMW dealerships

1995 - Shelton corporation buys Coombs of Guildford

1999 - Coombs acquire Vines Ltd and re-named Vines

2006 - John Tenner retires, Sean Kelly appointed Managing Director

2011 - Vines Group awarded BMW I franchise agreement

2015 - 75th AM 100 dealer group
