Jackson's Opticians has been an established business within Glossop for over fifty years. Having moved premises 10 years ago we are now situated at 27 High St West. Jacksons was taken over by Matt Woolhouse and his business partner Robert Blow on 26th March 2014.

Matt is a fully qualified Optician having 21 years of sight testing experience to call on. Having previously worked with resident Optician Kim Burton, he is keen to work alongside Kim again and with the existing team build on the already high standards.
Robert is a fully qualified Dispensing Optician with thirty plus years of experience in Optometry both working in and running practices. He currently owns and runs the largest Independent Opticians in the UK, DI Blow, and it is fantastic to have him on board. The wealth of knowledge and practical experience that he brings to Jacksons will literally be second to none.

We aim to provide the best patient experience from the moment you walk in, through your sight test to the dispensing of your spectacles and aftercare. Excellent customer service is our main aim, we want you to be happy with your visit and we want you to return!
We will be improving the choice of frames, lenses and contact lenses already available and would welcome comments about any particular brands you would like to see.
We will also be introducing a new range of childrens and designer frames and designer sunglasses.
