Q. How much will it cost me to put on a Jimmy Joe’s fundraising event?
A. Absolutely nothing! We will provide all of the materials.
Q. How will my collection be weighed?
A. The total of all of the individual collection bags will be added together to give a total weight. Jimmy Joes will then pay per kilo of donation.
Q. Where do you operate?
A. Because of the nature of the event we are happy to post your event pack to anywhere in the UK and arrange a collection by appointment from one of our collection vans.
Q. When will we receive payment for our collection?
A. Jimmy Joes can present a cheque on the day of collection or make a BACS transfer within 48 hours of collection.
Q. How often can we book an event?
A. As often as you would like.
Q. Where do the clothes go?
A. The clothes will be sent to the Jimmy Joes recycling sorting center. Here they will be graded as fit for purpose as clothing or no longer wearable. The non-fit for purpose items will be recycled into trade cloth for industry and the fit for purpose items will be sent to developing countries as affordable clothing.
