General information

Welcome to Stonham Barns Golf. Our aim is to make golf fun. With our facilities of the 9 Hole Golf Course, Footgolf Course, Golf Driving Range, Mini-Golf Course and a PGA Coaching Academy we can make golf available to everybody. We welcome and encourage juniors and beginners and offer the facilities to help them enjoy golf. Stonham Barns Golf offers an ideal base for players of all levels to practice & improve their game.
As a Golf Foundation Starter Centre we aim to promote and develop junior golf. This enables us to offer subsidised golf tuition to juniors and to run the Golf Foundation Merit Award Scheme. This scheme is a great incentive for juniors to improve their golf and it is recognised by golf membership clubs and will assist any juniors applying to join the golf club.
We run a Junior Golf Academy and we organise junior coaching throughout the year on Saturday mornings 10.30am - 11.30am (Cost - Free for members and £5.00 for non members). In addition we run junior golf tournaments throughout the year. These are usually held on the last Sunday of each month from April to October. Entry costs from £7.00 and juniors can just turn up and play anytime between 10am and 3pm. Winners receive a trophy and there are prizes for the top 3 in each age category.
The latest new sport sweeping the UK is footgolf and Stonham Barns Golf was one of the first footgolf courses in the UK in 2013. Now this exciting new sport is extremely popular. Come along and have a go.
