Ashley Arnewood Manor residential care home offers a warm and caring environment for our elderly residents, whilst respecting their wishes for individual privacy.

Ashley Arnewood Manor has nineteen individually decorated bedrooms on two floors, the first floor being served by a stair lift.

• Rooms are furnished to a high standard, and residents are encouraged to bring personal items to make them feel more at home.

• The Home offers a secure environment where all rooms are equipped with an emergency call system, ensuring residents have prompt response to their needs.

• The Home enjoys two sitting rooms and a dining room, which were completely refurbished in 2014.

• Visitors are encouraged and welcomed – refreshments are offered.

• Respite care can be made available.

• Residents have a choice of Doctors within the catchment area.

• The Home is regularly visited by the Clergy.

• Meals are home-cooked on the premises, likes and dislikes are always taken into consideration, menus are seasonal and regularly reviewed with our residents and family members who attend the Home's forum. Birthdays and special occasions are always celebrated.

• Special diets are catered for.

• Residents' families are welcome to join their relative for dinner(please let the cook know in advance).

Ashley Arnewood Manor residents are encouraged to pursue hobbies and leisure activities, and our Activities Co-ordinator ensures there are always a variety of events to join in.

Ashley Arnewood Manor is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and at our last inspection on 4th March 2017 we were rated as 'Good'. We asked families who visit their loved ones regularly at the home to give feedback about the service we deliver at Ashley Arnewood Manor....

The Ashley Arnewood Manor team of dedicated qualified staff provide high quality care appropriate to the individual's needs.

At Ashley Arnewood Manor our key focus is to provide a safe, homely and supported environment with a positive person-centred approach.

Residents are encouraged to pursue hobbies and leisure activities as much as possible. Various in-house activities, therapy and entertainment are available for those wishing to participate.

Chiropodist, Hairdresser, Optician, Dentist and Audiologist all visit the Home; however their charges are not included in our fees.

Residents' personal laundry will be undertaken by the Home, with the exception of dry cleaning or garments requiring hand washing.
