Slightly Foxed Brewery Company

General information

All our beers are carefully crafted by our brewer Simon, who was previously a multi CAMRA award winning landlord. Using blends of hops from different areas of the world, our aim is to create beers that are both accessable and appealing and at the same time layered with flavour.

Our session bitter is SLIGHTLY FOXED, 3.8% abv, using a blend of Amercan hops- Amarillo, Cascade and Delta- and Maris Otter malt. Light and refreshing on the palate and pale golden in colour, Slightly Foxed gives a clean, spicy, grapefruit flavour, a light fruity, floral aroma and a clean, dry finish.

Mid range is FOX GLOVE, 4.3% abv, a golden coloured premium best bitter based on English and European hops. Having a full bodied, fruity flavour from Challenger hops, Maris Otter and a touch of caramalt, balancing the spice and fruit aromas of German Brewers Gold and Sovereign hops.

BENGAL FOX at 5.2% is our "real" IPA, brewed in the best traditions of this favourite style of English beer. A bright golden colour from Maris Otter malt, Bengal Fox is brewed using some of the fabulous varieties of New Zealand hops: the pine and citrus flavours of Green Bullet, layered with grape and vanilla flavours and aromas from Nelson Sauv and Hallertau Aroma hops.

We also plan to introduce a range of dark beers, mild, stout and porter, and a variety of seasonal and special brews in the near future.
