General information

The business was established by George Cooper and Herbert Greuel from Germany. Herbert came over from the Volkswagen factory in the 50's to teach mechanics in the newly formed Volkswagen Dealerships, he stayed in Scotland marrying a Scots Lass and after meeting George formed a partnership which lasted until his retirement in 1986.

After serving his apprenticeship under Herbert, George's son Stephen, joined the RAF and after 11 years service returned to take over the running of the Garage. George has been retired for 12 years but is still around and about offering assistance.

Mechanic Grant Bruce has spent the majority of his career working with Volkswagan Audi Group (VAG) Cars, but can turn his hand to anything mechanical.

Mechanic Steven Lochrie has a comprehensive knowledge of all makes & models after spending many years working with a variety of different manufacturers.

The wealth of experience and depth of knowledge we have will ensure that your car will be dealt with in a professional and conscientious manner. We treat customers cars as if they were our own and if we wouldn't fit the parts to our own cars, then we wouldn't fit them to yours.
