An Award winning collection of Zinc Planters, fountains, lighting and
Garden Objet d’art, handmade in Europe.
Our products are built from heavy gauge steel, which is then dipped into Molten Zinc. We then finish the Zinc with an aged Patina, which will age down to resemble Lead.
APlaceInTheGarden opened its doors to the web at the 2011 Chelsea Flower Show with the launch of our website aimed at showcasing a unique collection of elegant zinc planters and decorative zinc objects.
The art of making zinc garden planters, so well developed in Victorian gardens, became lost with the development of galvanization for protecting metal garden accessories.
The owners of APlaceInTheGarden have brought together authentic reproductions of classic designs and some fine contemporary pieces produced by the traditional process of dipping the hand made objects into molten zinc.
