General information

Crawley Down FC is heavily involved in promoting football from the young age of 5 years (U6) through to adult.

1st X1 - Senior level football in the Sussex County Football League.

Crawley Down have strength in depth with complete integration of all the youth teams and we actively encourage our Youth Team players into Senior Football through the Youth U18 team if they have the skill and commitment to play at that level. Many former youth team players have made that step up.
CDFC through a lot of hard work now has facilities and the status to play in the FA Cup, FA Trophy and the FA Youth Cup. Covered Seating accommodation of 188 seats inc disabled areas and a further covered standing area for 125 persons.

Youth Level as in football terms is Under 18 and Crawley Down currently have two Youth Team’s the front side will play Midweek under floodlights in the Ryman Isthmian Youth League and FA Youth Cup Competitions and the other youth squad will play in the U18 Sunday Sussex county League and Sussex County FA Youth Cup.

How to Find us

From the North/West
Turn off the M23 at Junction 10 signposted East GrinsteadAt the roundabout at the Copthorne Hotel, take the 2nd exit, signed A264 East Grinstead.At the next roundabout (Duke's Head) take the 3rd exit, B2028 south, toward Turners HillAfter approx. 1 mile turn left into Sandy Lane. (just after entering the 30mph zone and a telephone box in the layby on the right).At the end of Sandy Lane (war memorial on the right), turn left signed Felbridge.After a couple of bends the Haven Centre is on your left.

From the East:
Travel through East Grinstead on the A22 until the Junction with the A264 at the Felbridge Traffic lights. Turn left (Sign posted Crawley) and after 100 Meters take the Left Fork towards Crawley Down. Approx 1.5 Miles Haven Centre on Right.

From the South: Travel North through Turners Hill on the B2028 after approx 2 Miles take the 2nd turning on your right (Vicarage Road). This is a Right fork and is sited just after passing over a small bridge. Follow Vicarage Road for approx 1/2 Mile past Junction with Sandy Lane and The Haven Centre is 200 Meters on your left. There is ample car parking space.The changing rooms are through the main entrance and to your right.
