Brick Farm Lakes Trout Fishery

General information

Brick Farm Lakes is one of the leading trout fisheries in the country and is 24th in Trout Fisherman's Top 100 Stillwater’s in the British Isles.
The fishery is open to the general public all year round and pre-booking is not required. Our charming oak frame timber lodge set next to Brick Lake provide self-serve tea and coffee making facilities, warm and dry shelter and clean toilets.
Brick Farm Lakes is located in open countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) near Herstmonceux in East Sussex.
We have three lakes totalling about 4 acres all very well stocked regularly with rainbow, blue and brown trout. We believe we are the leaders in inexpensive smallwater fishing, regularly stocking trout ranging from 1.5lb to over 10lb. Well Lake is the smaller top lake, Brick Lake the larger bottom lake and our new Stag Lake in the middle.
There is a road to all lakes and the lodge with parking next to Brick Lake and Well Lake.
We are open from 7.30am to 8.00pm (or dusk if earlier) seven days a week. Last cast is 15 minutes before close.
We are very keen to encourage juniors into the sport. In support of this we allow juniors (16 and under) to fish on their guardians ticket. In particular this allows parents to avoid the unnecessary expense of multiple tickets and encourages juniors who may struggle to catch their fish until more proficient.
Rod hire is available as well a a small selection of items frequently lost or forgotten such as leader, flies, priests.
