The Leigh UTC represents the beginning of an incredible journey for those who want to specialise in Engineering and Computer Sciences.

At The Leigh UTC, we know we are at the very forefront of education for 14 to 19-year-olds. We offer you an incredible opportunity to specialise in computer sciences or engineering in a state-of-the-art facility that is the envy of elite universities across the UK.

For the 2015/16 academic year, which starts in September 2015, we have:

150 places available for students born between 1 September 2000 and 31 August 2001 who want to specialise in computing or engineering while studying for their GCSEs

70 places available for students born between 1 September 1998 and 31 August 1999 who want to study a computer sciences or engineering BTEC course and GCSEs, AS levels or A-levels, if applicable.
