T&Cs

1. Promotions by Macsween of Edinburgh (the Promoter) are not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. A participant into a Promotion is providing their information to the Promoter, not Facebook. The information an entrant provides will only be used for the purpose of facilitating the Promotion unless otherwise agreed. By entering the Promotion, all Participants agree to give Facebook a complete release from any and all legal liability in connection with the Promotion. All entries will be subject to Facebook’s terms of use which can be found at www.facebook.com.

2. The Prize Draw is open to UK entrants aged 16 and over, except employees and their immediate families of Macsween of Edinburgh, their agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.

3. To enter the competition to win a Macsween’s hamper, the user must share an image of a recipe idea with the promoter via their social media channels, and accept their recipe may be used as an asset by The Promoter. By entering the competition user accepts these T&Cs.

4. Entries can only be made by interacting with the Macsween of Edinburgh social media channels. No other entry method will be accepted.

5. Only one entry per person and no multiple entries will be accepted. Bulk or 3rd party entries will not be accepted.

6. No purchase necessary.

7. The winner will be contacted by the relevant channel within 72hrs of the of a decision being made. All reasonable effort will be made to contact the winners, however, if the winner has not responded to contact within 1 week an alternative winner may be selected. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. All valid entries will be entered into a prize draw, and the winner will be selected by representatives from Macsween of Edinburgh. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. The prize will be sent from the UK via a tracked delivery method. Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any kind of network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

10. No cash or other alternative prizes are available, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control the promoter reserves the right to provide alternative similar prizes of equal or greater value.

11. The Promoter reserves the right to provide an alternative prize.

12. The winner may be required to participate in related publicity and it is a condition of entry that entrants agree to their names being made public if they win.

13. By entering the promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. All entry instructions form part of the rules.

14. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, amend or temporarily suspend the competition in its absolute discretion, provided that it shall not exercise this right unreasonably.

15. The Promoter and their agents accept no responsibility for difficulties experienced in participating in this competition.

16. The Promoter and their agents accept no responsibility for damages, losses or injuries that result from acceptance of the prize.

17. The competition and these terms are governed by Scottish Law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.
