General information

I opened Lady Elegance in Sandwich as there seemed to be an opening in the market in this area for special occasion shoes and accessories but expanded into "every day" shoes of high quality as requested by customers too. I like to source beautiful items that generally aren't widely available and even unique "one offs"! Especially the hats!! These are made by hand and are made especially for you, we do have a large selection in the boutique for you to choose from too! I love bags! I do try to source unusual and beautiful bags and have quite a selection in store from "day bags" to fabulous evening bags. We can also dye shoes and bags from our Rainbow Club range to your outfit. To complement a beautiful outfit a lady might need special hosiery and we have the amazing Wolford collection. Gentlemen coming into the boutique with their "other halves" felt a bit left out so hearing that there wasn't anything in the area that is a bit special for men, I started "Chaps" menswear in the boutique. We now have a wonderful selection of St James shirts/jumpers/jackets and a fabulous range of Christy's hats, from panamas to caps! We offer a unique personal shopping experience at Lady Elegance & Chaps in beautiful medieval Sandwich.
