Tony Thompson has been running Bewdley Farm Shop for 25 years but has worked there for 27, as he purchased the business aged 18 when the previous owner retired.
“Over the years we have built up real rapport with customers and seen their children grow up and then come in with their children. Most of my staff have been with me from day one, so it’s more like an extended family."
“Bewdley is a tourist town and as much as we have a loyal local customer base, we do rely on the tourists coming in. It’s quite unspoilt and you don’t have a lot of commercialism. You can enjoy nice river walks and a lot of people enjoy a picnic down by the river in the summer."
