Tilgate Golf Course Car Park

General information

Tilgate Forest Golf Centre is set within the magnificent wooded countryside of the High Weald of Sussex adjoining Tilgate Forest Park. This glorious location offers unparralleled views from its higher vantage points.

The park covers some 400 acres and was once part of the Tilgate Estate which covered most of the surrounding area. Tilgate Forest Park is now classed as a Country Park and conservation area with Tilgate Forest Golf Centre being just one of the many attractions on offer.

Tilgate Forest Golf Centre is one of the best Pay & Play courses in the South. It is famous for its tree lined fairways, tight doglets and well guarded greens. The 18 hole Par 72 course is both challenging and rewarding for all golfers. In addition to this the golf centre boasts a 9 hole Par 3 course ideal for beginners or for a fun warm up round.

The club is extremely popular with golfers in the local area and with golfing societies that return year after year.

Tilgate Forest Golf Centre can also offer you:

- A 35 bay floodlit driving range available for practice sessions.
- PGA Golf Lessons and coaching packages available until 7pm on selected days.

2012 will see the construction of Tilgate Forest Golf Courses's new Clubhouse. Construction is due to begin in March and will be completed in December 2012. The new facility will be easy to access from the car park through a new court yard into the main reception area where green fees, range tokens and food and beverages can be purchased.

The new Clubhouse will also have a dedicated function room that can be hired out for private functions and parties. The design will mean we can hold functions whilst continuing the keep the bar open to the public as a social venue for a casual drink after a round.

Plans for the new building are on display in the pro shop entrance. The course, driving range and snack bar will remain open to all during the build. We thank you in advance for your patience during the construction period.
