Through continued success built on a proud reputation for high quality, value for money and impeccable service, the company founded by Neil Bark in 1993, has evolved to become one of the UK's leading producers of staircases, employing over 40 people at it's state-of-the-art midlands production facility.

Based in the heart of the National Forest

Opened in 2004 and representing an investment of over £1.5m, our environmentally friendly Swadlincote site is strategically located at the heart of the country, close to major road networks, ensuring reliable nationwide deliveries through our modern vehicle fleet.

Continually striving for a lower carbon footprint Central joinery has installed a biomass heating system to heat the factory environment therefore utilising the waste materials generated and reducing the amount of waste sent to landfill.

For more than a decade we have worked in partnership with several of the UK's leading housebuilders and in recognition of good service and quality we have received several NHBC Certification awards and preferred supplier awards. Our dedicated team of experienced craftsmen, combined with the cutting edge technology of the very latest woodworking machinery with time served traditional skills to produce the highest quality staircases available anywhere in the UK.
