Ropetackle is a multi-award winning, community-run arts venue that attracts some of the biggest and best performing arts events in the UK. Situated in the heart of Shoreham, West Sussex, our goal is to stage events for all tastes and budgets for the good folk of Adur and beyond.
With a 200 seat auditorium, two well-stocked bars, a large foyer area with a box office, plus separate meeting rooms, Ropetackle is a large purpose built venue offering plenty of flexibility and event options. Uniquely, the centre is run by a team of trustees, a handful of staff (mainly part-time or freelance) plus more than 100 brilliant and generous volunteers from across the local community.
