Sunice emerged in 1976 in Calgary as a dynamic new brand in skiwear. Their desire to raise the profile of their brand showed itself literally in 1982, when Sunice outfitted a team making Canada's first ever attempt to summit Everest. The ascent continued in 1988 when the pioneering brand was selected as an Official Supplier to the Winter Olympics in Calgary. Today Sunice is known as one of the most authentic alpine ski brands in the snow sports industry.

Following its Olympic success, Sunice decided to plant its flag in a new industry. The Sunice golf outerwear line was introduced in 1992, offering quality on par with their ski gear.
