The Countess of Brecknock Hospice is a specialist palliative care unit, within Andover War Memorial Hospital. The hospice multi-disciplinary team consists of doctors, nurses, therapists, counsellors and support staff, who work to help people live as well as possible, until they die.
The hospice provides specialist care for people with any life-limiting illness through:
An inpatient unit
A hospice at home service
A day hospice service
Outpatient clinics
Working in close partnership with Hampshire Hospitals Specialist palliative care service community and hospital teams, as well as community care teams and GPs.
