General information
The Anderton Centre is a non-profit organisation run by charity Lancashire Outdoor Activities Initiative whose aim is to get as many people as possible enjoying the great outdoors.
The Centre is based on the stunning shores of Rivington reservoir, to which the Centre has exclusive use and specialises in delivering an engaging outdoor learning curriculum for primary schools, secondary schools, free schools, academies, colleges and universities.
The Anderton Centre delivers a wide range of land and water based activities including canoeing, sailing, climbing and bushcraft and offers bespoke corporate team building. Onsite facilities include conferencing rooms and 70-bed residential accommodation.
All profits go back into the centre to subsidise activities for children and young people, youth and community groups, disabled groups and third sector organisations.
