heatload.co.uk is the trading name of Mafi Mushkila, which was formed in 2002 to provide datacentre related services. Since 2008 the company has concentrated on providing server emulators and heat load units used in the testing of datacentres and computer rooms. Our products are grouped as floor standing or rack mounted, and single phase or three phase power connection.
We developed a rack mounted 2kw unit to provide basic load to test the performance of a new datacentre. The product was developed to allow front of rack installation. A further modification significantly increased airflow through the unit, this reduced the temperature rise (front to rear) to much closer to that of a server. A 3.5kw unit was developed for the European and US market; in 2014 the unit was UL listed. All units are 3u.
We continue to develop our service offering; in 2014 we introduced temporary racks and power distribution. In 2015 we introduced data logging tags (temperature and humidity).
