Mehmet Dari's love and understanding of the importance of fresh ingredients and traditional methods of food preparation began at a young age in his mother's kitchen back in his native Turkey.

There he first watched and later helped his mother prepare dough freshly each day to bake the family's bread. On a farm growing onions, tomatoes and peppers, the significance of using fresh ingredients were ingrained from the very beginning and have stood him in good stead now, many years later and many miles from his first home, as he finds himself running a chain of successful and popular restaurants in east Kent.
