OUR HOME
Located in a suburb of Barnsley, Shaftsbury House offers expert care and support to help people with learning disabilities lead more independent and fulfilling lives. We have eight long-term residential placements and two respite rooms for short stays. We enjoy welcoming new people into the home and there is a warm, positive atmosphere.

ACCOMMODATION
Shaftsbury House has 11 individual bedrooms, spread over two floors. The majority of our rooms are wheelchair-friendly and we have a lift for access. Each room has its own toilet, handbasin and built-in wardrobes.
One of the rooms is a bedsit-style apartment with its own kitchen and wet room, which is ideal for rehabilitation and preparing residents to move on. People are encouraged to decorate their rooms with their own belongings to ensure it suits their personality.
