Voluntary Action Barnsley (VAB) is the infrastructure organisation in Barnsley for the voluntary and community sector providing high quality services which will give the sector stability, support and status to help it prosper. VAB provides its members with a full range of services from start up advice, recruitment of volunteers, HR management, accountancy and payroll through to training.

VAB works with local partners striving to improve the social and economic well being of Barnsley and ensure that the sector is seen as an equal partner in the delivery of services.
