HISTORY: #BICKIEPEGS were developed and first produced in 1925 by Dr.Harry Campbell MD FRCP, a leading Harley Street Paediatrician.

PURPOSE: Specially designed and shaped to assist infants cope with the teething process. BICKIEPEGS provide the correct exercise vital to the development of a baby's jaw and teeth. The shape is designed to allow baby to bite at both the front and back of the mouth, whilst develop chewing skills. The hardness provides a strong surface which allows new teeth to cut through the gums.
Being food based, BICKIEPEGS compliment baby led weaning and in our opinion better than plastic or other non-food based teethers.

INGREDIENTS: Only the finest quality Wheatflour and Wheatgerm are used in the process and importantly NO SUGAR, SALT, ADDITIVES, COLOURINGS OR PRESERVATIVES are used. BICKIEPEGS are free from GM and Dairy.

BICKIEPEGS are still HAND-MADE in a dedicated bakery in Scotland.

SUITABILITY: BICKIEPEGS are Kosher and suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans. The pack states 'from 6 months of age' - the reason being the product contains a very small (200 parts per million) amount of gluten. As the biscuit is not intended for eating and does not form part of the child's diet, some parents choose to use the product early.

SAFETY: BICKIEPEGS come packed with a ribbon for attaching to the child's clothing and other instructions/guidance for use.
