Thistle Sports is a long established local company, originally founded in 1983 purely as a racquet specialist,1 name change and 2 locations later Thistle sports arrived at Rose Street. Customer demand led us to add Cricket, Hockey, Swimwear and Rugby to compliment our Squash, Tennis and Badminton ranges. We are a genuine equipment based sports shop not just tracksuits and trainers. Our customers regularly tell us how much they enjoy coming into a "Real sports shop".Their words not ours. Our staff are all involved on the playing side of one or more of the sportswear we cater for. Their expertise is your guarantee of a high level of advice and service.

We have strung for many top players including Andy Murray the british no1. Our Stringing Machine is the Wilson Baiardo, which is the most advanced stringing machine in the World.
