UTC Bolton will provide a different and flexible route to university and employment. Its students will exceed their initial expected ambitions, reach their full potential and have well-paid professional careers.

UTC Bolton will prepare students for a successful life after school. It will specialise in health sciences and engineering technologies. These skills are much needed by employers locally and nationally. Graduating students will be in demand from employers and universities.

Students will learn in a purpose built modern building and use the latest technology. Classroom teaching and practical problems provided by employers will challenge and engage students.

The University of Bolton will develop and manage the UTC. They will be helped by many local businesses and organisations.

UTC Bolton’s vision is to provide an outstanding educational environment that inspires young people to higher aspirations and to reach their full potential through a rigorous academic curriculum set in a highly relevant technical context with practical learning experience.
