All Denis Wick metal mutes are hand-crafted in the Denis Wick factory in Poole, in the south of England, where highly skilled craftsmen create mutes which are light, but extremely hard and resonant. This hand-crafting is one of the secrets of the success of these mutes.

Denis Wick wooden mutes are all hand-made in the United Kingdom and give a different tone-quality from that of the popular aluminium mutes. They are a favourite in the best symphony and opera orchestras, where their intense sound in pianissimos is appreciated. The new range of fibre mutes offers a great mute at an extremely affordable price.

The Denis Wick mouthpiece range includes the Classic, HeavyTop, Heritage, Ultra, American Classics and DW/Paxman models, and are all manufactured in the UK using the latest computer-controlled technology to produce mouthpieces which are both consistently accurate and very comfortable to play. All the mouthpieces are hand-polished and ultra-sonically cleaned before being plated by state-of-the-art equipment designed to produce the best possible silver and gold finishes.

Denis Wick Advanced Formula Valve Oil has set a new standard in brass instrument lubrication. It uses PTFE (better known as Teflon) to produce an oil which is extremely long-lasting, gives long-term protection from corrosion and has a wonderful, silky feel.
