General information
Founded in 1911, Bournemouth Blind Society is the oldest independent Charity in Bournemouth. For over 100 years we have served the local visually impaired community, enabling them to lead independent and active lives.
Our services include: Social Activities, Sports Clubs, Sight and Hearing Resource Centre, Emotional Support, Support Worker, Befriending, Transcription and Guiding Training.
We receive no guaranteed external funding and rely heavily on donations, legacies and fundraising.
