Boscombe Baptist Church

General information

We are 'a church in the community and for the community' situated in Boscombe. We are encouraged that this is a growing church and would love to welcome you among us.

We provide in a broad range of activities and are grateful to God for His blessing and guidance.

These include a Toy Library, Prayer Meeting, Children's Club, Bible Studies, as well as small groups that meet fortnightly to look at the Bible together, discuss, pray and care for one another.

We are welcoming, friendly and dedicated to glorifying God by making disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ, helping people to live out their faith day by day.

We live under the authority of God's word, the Bible, and prayerfully apply its teaching. We look forward to welcoming you personally, and to your becoming part of our family in Christ.

As a baptist church, we baptise believers by full immersion.

Our Sunday Service times.

10.30am Morning Worship Service (modern style including creche and children's activities)

6.30pm Evening Worship Service (traditional style)

Each month we also share Communion together on the 1st Sunday morning and the 3rd Sunday Evening.

Boscombe Baptist Church was opened on 16th March, 1875 and was the first Baptist church in Bournemouth. The original sanctuary was refurbished in 2004.
