Sparks Play & Care

General information

Sparks Play and Care is the first Childcare Co-operative in Bristol.

If you have not heard about us before, we are a Breakfast, after school and Holiday Club (during most of the school holidays minus Christmas) for children aged 3-14 years. We provide a fun, safe and memorable environment for your children to experience during their time out of school. We are currently based in the Green Terrapin Building within Sefton Park Schools in Ashley Down.

All of our staff are DBS Checked and have appropriate experience and skills to provide the highest standard of care for your children.

We provide a large variety of indoor and outdoor activities such as den building, fire making, tree climbing, football, basketball, computers, games consoles, tablets, daily craft & cooking activities and many more! All planned, adult-led activities are completely optional but will always be there for your children to take part in if they wish.
Cooking is always a very popular activity and children get a chance to experiment with new recipes and taste new flavours. Specific dietary requirements such as allergies and intolerances, halal, vegetarian, vegan and kosher can all be accommodated for. All daily cooking activities are planned based on all of the children’s needs to be inclusive of everyone.
If your child has additional needs, please do not hesitate to ask any questions as we are able to provide our services for all children, our staff are well trained in all areas and will be happy to meet any requirements.

Pricing:
Breakfast club (7.30am-8.30/45am) - £4.50 per session
After School Club (3.15/30pm – 6.00pm) - £10

Holiday Club:
Full Day (8.15am-5.45pm) - £31
School Day (9am-3.30pm) - £22
Half Day (8.15am-1pm or 1pm-5.45pm) £15.50

If you are new to Sparks and your child will be coming for the first time, there is a registration fee of £20 (per child) which will then entitle you to use Sparks Breakfast, After School and Holiday Club for a year without re-registration (subject to availability).
