Pretend to Bee is the brand name for their own label products created by GSC, a family-run business now in it's third generation of the family.
Whilst Pretend to Bee has only been around since 2005, GSC has been around a lot longer - since 1951 to be exact...
Suppliers of childrenswear to the likes of John Lewis, Next and Adams Childrenswear throughout the 80s and 90s, GSC then turned their hand to fancy dress costumes, designing and manufacturing for the biggest childrens brand on the planet - Disney.
Having supplied costumes to Disney for many years GSC decided to use their knowledge and experience in creating their own unique products, and Pretend to Bee was born.
You'll be interested to know GSC still supply childrens character costumes to Disney to this very day!
