General information
St Mary's is an Anglican church in the East Bingham deanery of the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham.
We hold a communion service on Wednesday mornings; on Sundays we hold morning and evening services (one of which is a communion service). Tea and coffee are served after the morning services to allow a time for fellowship. For many of the congregation this is a valuable time to meet new people and to chat with friends.
In addition to service times, the church is open for visitors on Friday and Saturday mornings. Please contact us if you would like to visit the church at a different time.
St Mary's is one of the oldest churches in Nottinghamshire and is noted for its painted and gilded woodwork introduced in the 1870s by George Frederick Bodley and Thomas Garner. It also contains some fine stained glass windows by Burlisson & Grylls.
