UTC Leeds is a school for 14 to 19 year olds which specialises in engineering and manufacturing. UTCs offer 14-19 year olds the opportunity to take a highly regarded, full-time, technically orientated course of study. The unique differences between UTC and mainstream schools is the partnership working with a local University and employers.
UTC Leeds is partnered with Leeds University along with our employee partners, Siemans, Agfa, Unilever, EEF, and Leeds Chamber of Commerce. These partnerships are the key to the success of the UTC in providing relevant technical industry experience through project work delivered through the curriculum. Working with Leeds University also provides defined HE routes and opportunities for developing young people through a number of initiatives and projects.
