Since Charles Wilson Engineers Ltd first opened its doors for trading out of a single location in the Hertfordshire town of Harpenden in 1979, it has continued to spread its good and reliable name in the plant hire industry. Nearly forty years on Charles Wilson proudly remains a privately owned rental business with 17 depots throughout the country, each committed to providing the best equipment alongside the highest level of personalized service and professionalism. Although our ethos has not changed, our areas of operation and our customer base continues to grow. Not only are we able to offer plant and tool hire countrywide, we also offer services from our specialist divisions within the company, most notably our successful Event Hire division, the brain child of our Director, Mr. David Wilson.
