The Yorkshire Foot Hospital is a Podiatric Surgery day case unit within The Lawrence Clinic in Leeds, specialising in boththe diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle disorders, whilst many foot problems respond well to non – surgical treatments,others may require podiatric surgical intervention.
Podiatric Surgery can be defi ned as the surgical treatment and management of the foot and its associated structures and is particularly effective for persistently painful foot conditions or where the foot is being a ected by deformity.
The foot hospital is led by Consultant Podiatric Surgeons who hold substantive NHS posts and are Surgical Fellows of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists, governed by the Health Professions Council (HPC) who have been providing
foot surgery services in Leeds since 1997. The unit is also registered with The Care Quality Commission.
The Yorkshire Foot Hospital receives patients from all over the UK. These have included well - known TV actors and actresses, sports personalities with some patients travelling from as far away as Italy.
