Step aboard Whittington’s for the ultimate in traditional British refreshment.
On board our modern canal barge, you’ll find a tea room with a difference. Contemporary surroundings combine with a traditional approach to preparing and serving great British breakfasts, lunches and afternoon tea. Our cream teas are the equal of anything you might enjoy at a fine hotel.
Find us alongside Christchurch Meadows, Reading. Stop off to enjoy the finest in freshly prepared food and drink. We specialise in tea – but if you insist, we’ll make you a delicious cup of fresh coffee, instead!
We’re open Tuesday to Thursday, from 10am until 4pm and until 5pm Friday to Sunday And if the weather suits, then you’re welcome to take a seat at our tables on the riverbank.
