Grainseed Ltd is a seed company based in Eye near the Suffolk/ Norfolk border. With extensive years of experience specialising in the distribution of maize seed, both for forage and grain, oilseed rape seed and sunflower seed, Grainseed Ltd are the UK agents for Euralis Semences who are a large European cooperative based in Pau in the south west of France.
We can also supply a wide range of game cover seeds from straight maize and millets to specialist game cover mixes.
In addition we are also able to offer a full range of seed cleaning, treating and testing here at our modern processing plant in Eye, please see ‘other services’ for details.

Maize
All of our “Bred for Britain” maize varieties have been specifically bred for and extensively tested in the UK both in official NIAB trials and in our own large scale farm trials on over 40 locations across England, Scotland and Wales. We trial maize varieties suitable for forage, grain and biogas production both conventionally drilled and under plastic.
