General information

Handel Pianos is a family run business and our showrooms, located in Sunningdale, Berkshire, were established in 1992 and have been offering a huge range of high quality pianos for sale and piano services to local communities in Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and the surrounding areas ever since.

We are are main dealers for Yamaha, Bösendorfer, Bechstein, Petrof, Kemble, Toyo, Weber, Steinmeyar and Gors and Kallmann and also sell quality used and fully restored pianos from makers including Steinway, Bechstein, Blüthner and many more.

Visiting us is easy. We’re on the main A30 in central Sunningdale, near Ascot. We are open Monday to Sunday, and our friendly and knowledgeable staff are avaliable to help you find the perfect piano for your needs.

Once you've chosen your piano we can arrange careful, expert delivery nationwide. All our pianos are tuned to concert pitch (A440) and are always fully quality checked before delivery. Each one also comes with at least a 12 month guarantee. Handel Pianos support the "Take it away" musical instrument 0% finance scheme provided by Arts Council England and also offer a part exchange service.

Rental

Rental starts from £40 per month (6 months minimum). We also offer a special option to buy the piano at a reduced purchase price if you want to keep it. We will arrange delivery and collection for as little as £85. We can also help find a Piano Teacher.

Event Hire

Hire a grand or upright piano for that special occasion (a concert or wedding reception) from £300 per day. We will arrange for the piano to be tuned delivered and collected with a matching stool included. We can also find a suitable piano player to make your event that extra bit special!

Piano Moving

Our experts will move your piano to another room, another house, another county or country.

Disposal and recyling

If your piano is past its best and needs to be recycled, we can help. Please call us for a quote - we can collect and dispose of it for you. Please note that because of our location, this service is not geared for those further away from us.

Tuning

Handel Pianos' qualified experts can tune any make or type of piano from as little as £65. Each time we tune your piano we will check for any current faults. We will also offer guidance on keeping your piano in good order, suggesting how any potential faults can be avoided. How often your piano will require tuning will depend on a number of things such as its make, style, age, and type of piano. As a guide we recommend the following:

Low usage - every 12 months
Moderate usage - every 9 months
Heavy usage - every 6 months

Contact us to book in your piano for a tune. Appointments are available weekdays from 9.00am - 4.30pm. Due to the popularity of our tuning service please allow 2-3 weeks for a tuning appointment.

Repairs & Restoration

Handel Pianos are specialists in first class piano rebuilds and restoration of all types and makes of pianos. Our qualified and experienced piano repairers and restorers will carry out all repairs ranging from a sticky key, a broken pedal, replacing a tired action, cabinet repair and polishing, to a full restring, or rebuild.
