General information
The DIY Motorist is Kent's largest warehouse of used car parts. We supply and fit both new and used tyres. We have a large number of repairable salvage vehicles always available to view, just come and have a look.
We are a family run business based in Walmer. Our site holds 400 cars and covers about 4.5 acres. We recycle vehicles reusing a large number of components including engines, transmissions, panels, switches lights etc. We are a registered ATF. A percentage of our vehicles are not categorised as scrap and so are available for re-sale as Damaged Repairable Salvage. We are part of the
Re-cycle group supplying second hand parts to insurance companies like Allianz Insurance. Our dismantling yard is not open to the general public. All scrap removal is done via a local registered waste transfer company.
