Established in 1974, Instock has grown into one of the largest independent distributors in the UK, primarily servicing Scotland and the Northwest of England. With customers in a variety of industries, we act as a dependable source for all of our client’s catering, cleaning and housekeeping needs. Recognition and approval from the British Standard’s Institution certifies that our business adheres to an international standard of performance by ensuring that our products and services are safe, reliable and trustworthy.

Being an independent and family managed organisation makes us flexible in all aspects of our business. We need every client, not just the big ones, and we are able to offer a superior service as our team is experienced in covering all account types. This is supported by next day distribution to all main towns and cities in our regions, through our fleet of 16 vans delivering daily.

We have Catering Showrooms at our depots in Livingston and Carlisle and we would be pleased to welcome you where you can see an extensive range of Catering Equipment as well as Crockery, Cutlery and Glassware.

We are also a shareholder in Maxima Trading Ltd which enables us to offer viable UK National Distribution at competitive prices as well as being able to offer the full range of Maxima branded products giving added value to our customers.
