You might have seen us as you drive down Dewsbury Road. Maybe you’ve walked past our office when you’ve gone to grab a KFC on a Friday night. Maybe you’ve seen our boards in the area. Whether you’ve dealt with us before or not, we’re confident you’ll like what we do.

Whitegates has been around for a long time. Perhaps you remember “That’s the way, a ha, a ha at Whitegates!” We are one of the longest established estate agencies and were the first agents to bring in ground breaking ideas such as “No sale, no fee” – which was rapidly followed by almost every other agent in the country.

We always like to be ahead of the game! That’s why you’ll find us using the latest ideas to help you buy, sell, let or rent your property. You’ll find us on Facebook and Twitter. We hope you’ll like our modern brochures that don’t focus on reams of dull written information, but instead show large, bright photographs, showing each property to the best of its capabilities.

Meet the team!

Mirek
Originally from Poland but having lived in England since early childhood, Mirek knows his stuff! He’s worked for Whitegates since 1991 and successfully moved his way up the ranks until he bought the Whitegates Franchise on Dewsbury Road. If you’ve ever viewed a property with Whitegates or had your home valued, then it was probably MIrek who came out to see you. He can speak fluent Polish which often comes in handy as we deal with a lot of Polish clients.

Ami
Having joined the company in 2003, and has developed a wealth of experience and knowledge in Lettings as well as Sales. In 2009 Ami was made Senior Negotiator and in 2010 she won “Employee of the Year”. Ami can tell you pretty much everything you’d need to know about the legalities of letting a property and is also very clued up and works closely with local solicitors when it comes to selling your home.

Jo
Jo is the Admin Queen!!! She has two little girls and a slight addiction to diet coke. Jo is always polite and friendly and is incredibly hard working and has a real eye for detail! She joined the team in 2007 and deals with general enquiries as well as the majority of the administration involved in Lettings.

Chloe
Chloe has worked with us since 2009 having previously worked for an estate agent in Castleford and before that she worked selling new build apartments in Leeds City Centre. Chloe is always determind to get to the end of a problem and resolve any issues that crop up and certainly isn’t scared of hard work!

Katie
The newest and youngest addition to the team! Katie is bright and always has a smile on her face and is eager to help and keen to learn. Katie is involved in the every day runnings of the office – booking appointments for viewings and valuations, dealing with maintenance issues for our rented properties and ensuring that Mirek’s diary runs smoothly.
